Reggae Movie Gets Special Billing

Made in Jamaica, a 110-minute feature movie which chronicles the development of reggae music, is said to be enjoying special billing at the annual African Diaspora Film Festival (ADFF) happening right now in New York City. The festival started on November 28 and will run until December 16. The Made in Jamaica film, which was shot in Jamaica and France by Jerome Laperouz, will be screened five times over two days exclusively at the Thalia Theatre in Manhattan. This movie was HOT. It explained so much about reggae and Jamaica that I didn't know prior to viewing the movie.

I recommend everyone check out Made In Jamaica. It will be at the Jersey City Museum this weekend, January 30th and at the Brooklyn Academy of Music February 23rd-26th.
