Little Orphan Annie, A Depression-Era Gal
I live two blocks away from the oldest community theater in America, the Footlight Club of Jamaica Plain, Mass. The Footlight Club has performed every year since 1877. I went to their production of the musical Annie over the weekend. It was really good, with plenty of talented singers and actors. I was impressed, too, with the timeliness of the production.
